Vappu!

Today is Vappuaatto, the day before 1st of May. I made sima (mead / honey wine) for us, today after work I try to work with the cooking side too, with tippaleipä and munkki.

I have been working many extra hours this week, I even accepted another companys 2 extra days for my week, so I'm really tired. Luckily after today it's weekend. My plans are to do some sports, have outside picnic and maybe if the weather is fine, to go Palavas beach!

Working lady

Oh my gosh, I'm tired with aching back. I have been working more than expected, and as I can't say no, I got more extra hours for next week too. I'll be working mon-thu, but whole days. Cleaning is a hard job, I miss the office hours so much. Off I'll go, to cook, clean and working. Luckily tonight we'll have BBQ with friends, I can relax with beer or wine, good food and sleep tight after. And WHOLE weekend free!

Ps. I hope this work will make me loose few kg...and cm from the waist ;)

Sunday walk

At sunday we had a walk in Caumont, 

and saw soo many beautiful butterflies. 

I havent ever seen this one, so i'm not sure what it is

Saturday, I had a test cleaning for the job so we went to Isle sur la sorgue.

It went well and I got a job!!

So now i'll have some hours per week to clean, 

and I already got call from the boss if I would be free to work extra tomorrow.

Sure I am!

So sunny here, I took my skirt and shorts out for testing.

whee! i got my fast food t-shirt from threadless this week!

I have some great news again, I had another interview for job today and 

tomorrow I will go to try the job! So if tomorrow goes well, 

I'll have a job at this company!

Also the boss liked my CV much, he said it's a shame to work as a cleaner with so good experience,

so he proposed that maybe i could work as a assistant for his company someday.

Really cool!

Had some strawberries as a dessert this week, yummy!

I'm also planning a trip to Finland, to see my family and friends. 

Hopefully the ashes of the volcano of Eyjafjallajökull (Iceland) are gone by end of june ;) 

right now all airports in Finland are closed and the ash is spreading there.

And in some news they are saying that it might last up to one year with the volcanic eruption and half year delays with the air travel, phew.

So tomorrow I'll be working few hours, tonight I'll have a drink with friends and maybe sunday could be nice day for a walk in nature.

Hello summer, again! Yesterday we had so bad weather with rain, today it felt like summer again.
Last weekend, I had a talk with my french (in fench!) friend M, about my life. the work issues.. etc.. She is so wonderful that she told about me to her boss, and got us cleaning gig for monday. So, ysterday I was working first time ever in France! We cleaned private villas in smaller city, it was actually really nice. Only that when i hoovered this first castle-size-villa, my back was aching.. bad bad bad.. but I wont give up. Might be that I will have some cleaning works, not everyday but sometimes. I'm happy, very happy. Merci M.

I got myself little treat today because of the work news, some cute hairclips and bracelets (from camaieu).

sunny weekend

Hello again,

We have had quite nice weather in Avignon, so I decided to have a walk yesterday at the city. 

The tourist season has definetly started, everyone was there with cameras,shorts and t-shirts. And me, with my jacket and scarf... it was bit too much. After R finished his work, we went to have beers at the terrace at Place Pie. So nice, sunny and so many people. I enjoyed it, it felt like having a date with R.

Today we woke up and went jogging, I haven't been jogging for a long time even I have been training since the beginning of this year almost daily. We jogged 6km (48mins) very slowly, it was still so hard for me. Back in my mind I had the documentary of the french foreing legionary what we have been watching...so I continued. R pushed me until the end, by telling me that if i quit, he needs to do more ;) non, Sergent, I wont quit! So we jogged until home, my face was looking like it will explode.. red, red and more red. and I felt like fainting. After few mins this feeling will pass and I was smiling that I did it!

Now we will head for the garage, to take our new car to be fixed as the car did break last monday suddenly from the charger. I hope we'll have it soon back. At the evening, we will go to our friends house warming party.
