Do you sometimes feel like you have too many things to do and don't know where to start?
And the best idea is just to go to bed or watch tv?
I might need to start doing to-do lists.
It's not fun, because my to-do lists are not filled with fun stuff.
Maybe I need to create 2 lists, one for fun stuff and one for serious stuff.
I better start with the fun stuff.. it keeps me motivated:
Fun stuff:
* Try the sewing machine
* Buy pumpkins (decoration and real)
* Make peppermint patties
* Bake cupcakes
* Get a new haircut = fringe
* Take photos

Serious stuff:
* Finish the school presentation (in french!)
* Start reading for the coming exams (general culture and expression, economics and law.. yo, all in french)
* Keep on writing the company presentation (school project)
* Try to catch up with sports (it's been like a one year again since the last sporty moment)

My feelings about the studies are are changing little by little,
I am starting to enjoy the new things. I realised that not everything in my courses are totally new,
I can actually manage through the lessons. When I am having a hard time, I have new friends there who are willing to help. Still, I am having mixed feelings about the coming exams - we have been there hardly one month.
Will I pass, what happends if I don't pass?
Stress.
I haven't had time for any hobbies lately, my camera has been packed away too long time - this weekend I need to take it out and try to appreciate the changing nature.
Fall is coming.
Léonie is going today to the clinic so she will be away from home until tomorrow evening.
No worries,she is absolutely fine now!
On weekend I am wishing to complete some of the fun tasks too;
R's parents are coming for lunch (trying out for roasted chicken recipe!)
maybe try some new baking recipes
to get some pumpkins from the market
and pop to the salon to ask when our friend M would have time to cut my hair.
With all these on my mind, I will continue working through that serious stuff to-do list.
Happy wednesday, everyone!

Don't stress! :) Definitely go out with you camera - changing leaves aren't very common where I live (it doesn't get cold enough) so I would love to see some autumn colours... AND SNOW! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd if you don't pass, well, then you try again or try something else. All will be okay! :)
Have a beautiful week!
haha so true. sometimes i think you need the sleep to revamp for the things to do ahead!
ReplyDeletegood luck with it all.

Don't stress...take pictures, be creative, and enjoy the fall! And buy pumpkins...pumpkins always make me happy!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about school. I must graduate next month and my schoolwork is about 2 months delayed. I have no idea how to catch up. Good luck! I miss my camera, too :)
ReplyDeleteYou're going to rock this! Good luck....One thing at a time, doll, one thing at a time.
ReplyDeletehaha I have this same quote about so much to do on my desktop! What are the odds...ha
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog and just wanted to say hi! Come on over and follow Color Issue...a blog all about color! :-)

ReplyDeleteSaa nähdä miten ensimmäinen koe menee, ensi viikolla on ensimmäinen äidinkielen koe eli pitäisi kirjoittaa 2 sivuinen mielipidekirjoitus :P
I am so nervous still, but feeling a little bit more confident now. Thank you all, so nice to have the support. Next week is the first exam, french and general culture and need to write personal essay about the subject. Gotta work for that in advance little bit :)
