h o m e again

home   s w e e t    home.

It is nice to be back!
But it was so good to visit Finland,
seeing my sister, my mother and father.
And lovely boys called Kosto and Sampo (parson russels!)

ma cuisine - Avignon

What I loved about this trip:

*  Seeing my dear family

* Having a coffee with my friend Laura whom I haven't seen for ages! She lives in Ireland and we're never in Finland at same moment - except now!

*  Visiting Tallinn, Estonia, with my family

* speaking finnish

* Me, my sis, and K spend evening with a lovely friend Sanni, she is expecting twins and I can't wait to meet the babies!! I needed that kind of girls night together; talking,cooking,playing and having fun :)

* Sauna and tar

* Finnish candies

I need to apologize for the lack of photos here, I didn't have the feeling to snap photos while I spend the most of the time with my family. I am hoping to take more now as the days are getting more sunny and warm!

While I was away, R took care of Léonie. I forgot though, that Léonie loves all plants and I left one on the kitchen table and she got bite of it. We are not sure if that is the reason, but she got sick and didn't eat anymore and kept feeling sick. Luckily, it's gone now and she is happy herself now! Except she won't let me sleep,again! She constantly wakes me up at 5am and I can't take it anymore.

Any advices?
Cat owners?
 Please?

I like: Handmade

Last time I visited in Turku, Finland, I found a cute crafting shop that sells wool strings. So last christmas,
I made 3 woolen coasters  that I gave as gifts for R's family.

I love handmade things and crafting and I am waiting eagarly that the sutures would be taken away from my hand(and head too!) Still counting days, 4 left. And propably I need to avoid still making too much stretching with the hand as the cut feels fragile.

I am planning to make different kinds of coasters (wool and rope), hopefully starting to use my sewing machine and try to make easy summer clothes. I learned to sew in school (it was mandatory in primary school) and we made clothes as well, but I forgot quite many things. So I'll be learning,again. Maxi dress and many pretty skirts would be perfect for the heat of Provence.

Happy Tuesday, lovelies!
