end of july

Hello friends and thank you, again.

I knew I could count on your opinion. This past week I went to reserve a time from our friend M's salon
and two days later I came out with fresh haircut, all bad split ends gone and dark hair.

I haven't had time or didn't feel like making an effort to take a nice picture, so here is a blurred photo from my phone.

It's end of July, I feel like summer is passing by without we are really taking all from it.

It's too warm for me, we suffer from the heat inside the house and outside. Only escape from the heat is the days I work, as we have air condition there. 

Plants are dying, slowly everything turning brown. Forest fires are starting, there was two huge fires in the hills behind my work place.

In Finland the summer has been rainy, I miss the cool summer and cold winter.

I wish we could escape, have a long holidays somewhere calm, next to the sea. Something we haven't seen before, snorkeling and wandering in the nature. We need to wait better holidays until next year, hopefully not longer. My heart is aching to see my family again, it is always hard to make the decision if I should visit home or save the money for traveling around the world.. Until now, I have chosen family. I will try to visit home still on christmas, but then, I try to focus on saving and plan a trip to somewhere else, unknown. I should save money for moving too, I want to spend next year already on a small house that has either a garden or a terrace, I need to have the outdoor space.

My leasing pony was sold lately, so I started to ride the owners competition pony. First day was like sitting on a bomb that will explode and pony was ready to run everywhere, second try was 450kg of muscles against me, pony didn't want to work (I guess it was the heat and the fact he needed to pee but didn't want to). My back is aching little bit, but it only means the muscles are working. I just will keep today free from the sports, stretching a bit and then tomorrow continue riding.

PS. Funny fact about Helsinki, Finland - this picture is true. We have only one main track for the underground/metro, what splits in two. People still gets lost in the metro there!

Hair post

It's been months since I visited last time the hairdresser. Last time I went there, I had decided that I want to have more natural hair and let my color grow out. My hairdresser made a treatment for my hair that would take the red pigment out of the hair, and he also chose to put some golden color to make it more even.
And cut the bad ends off.

Since that, I haven't done a single thing for my hair.

What it has been during the years...

 Short and reddish

Longer and reddish

side swept bangs

really dark with straight bangs

dark without straight bangs

With fringe (and bad color)

Light brown and trying to grow out bangs 

Then now, after I've stopped going to the hairdresser

My hair is more light brown, sun has bleached my hair.

It's growing longer, should cut the ends off.

I keep tugging the over grown fringe away from my face with bobby pins,

I don't really like it.

( he he maybe some of you might be wondering that what's those tiny eyebrows..

let me tell you, these are natural and doesn't grow more)

I am back from holidays, but I am not ready yet for normal life.

I want to lay down on the bed.

Sleep.

My week of freedom

How glad I will be end of the day, to wrap up things, pack my bags and head home from work.

It is my last day, and then I will have holidays. Even my holidays this time is short,only one week,

I will spend it like it will last forever.

My sister and her boyfriend are coming to spend the week with us!!
