6 years - dinner for 2

6 years ago, I met the most wonderful person in this world. 

We decided to celebrate (or I asked for it) first time ever our anniversary, 

so we made a nice dinner at home. 

I made the entry and dessert, R made the main course.

I can recommend this salad as entry or side dish, so tasty!

Wine from Ventoux

Cold rosé is like heaven in your mouth.

R decided to make skewers and these turned out really good! can you belive these were made in oven

we don't have BBQ or garden where to cook.

This dessert was a killer. 

Will give you a heart attack. 

Brownies AND super sweet ice cream.

Look at the portions.. I was already having too much sweetness in my small portion, 

I don't know HOW R could finish that huge piece of cake.

We had nice dinner for 2 and after that we joined our friends in Noves

to play Loup-Garou game. That's one funny role play, where you need to sit eyes closed in a circle, 

eveyrone has a role to play. You might be a normal village people or a werewolf, someone gets killed evey night...

The goal of the game is to find the werewolfs. It's funny to see how your friends can hoax you, lie or be really innocent and then in the end you don't know who to trust anymore. We had a great laugh, last night.

Ps. I am SO HAPPY that the weather is cooling down, we have fresh wind today and it feels so great.

I am going to ride Justy tonight, it will be such a treat to go without the burning sun.

Life lately, according to my Instagram photos.

 

This has been my life lately.

It's been weeks of hot weather, I am physically and mentally TIRED.

Our home is dirty, there is still the fixing guy building new seiling for the bath room (there was water accident last week). 

We are going to see fireworks tonight in Monteux with friends, tomorrow celebrating our 

anniversary - we have been 6 years together with Raphaël!

It's been years since I have seen myself riding (pictures or video) and I can see all faults I'm doing.

 I need to start looking more up while riding - I keep on staring too much my hands.

Maybe put the stirrups little bit longer as now it looks like I'm ready to jump obstacles.

Actually that saddle is for obstacles so it pushes legs forward, I prefer dressage saddle where legs go straight down.

Going riding while sun is up is quite awful. Lately it has been here 38 degrees (100.4 F) and I was really suffering from the heat while riding. My face was red and white, looks like swollen in the pictures. It's dangerous, so next time I will be there early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the sun. It  will be more pleasant for Justy too, he was tired from the sun.

A lovely girl called Mia

I had a opportunity to meet one lovely blogger called Mia, author of the blog of Me, Mice-Self and I.
She was one of the first followers I had on my blog. Her lifestyle is interesting, she is amazingly talented in arts and from the beginning I have loved her blog.

We spent only one day in provence together, but we had good time together! She is so funny, we had good laugh together and I surely will miss her as she lives far away, in Philippines. She is traveling through Italy, Spain and France, such a amazing thing to do.

Mia, you are great! I hope we will meet someday again. Miss you.

How was your weekend, friends? 

I can't belive it is already middle of august, soon the season will change to september.

I love the cold seasons and as I have been suffering from the heat lately, I will welcome the cold evening breeze with open arms.

Holidays, part 1

Fréjus was wonderful. I really love the area, less hot than Avignon and of course the best part, the beautiful sea. I love sea, swimming and snorkeling. We spend the long weekend there with my sister and her boyfriend, walking around the nearby villages, snorkeling and laughing.  I miss then so much, can't wait to spend winter holidays back home with them.

Sunny sunday

Mmm.. There's nothing better than sunny sunday, BBQ at friends place and a swimming pool.
We played hours and hours of pool volley, ate good food and played petanque.

I had so much fun that I didn't take any photos, I wanted to forget the pressure of taking photos and sharing them. I just wanted to enjoy the sunny sunday, see it through my eyes only.
Have the memories locked inside my mind..

ps. Remember when I told you I'm going to start the fight in june, well now the situation is many many lost cm and -6kg (around 13.2 pounds). and I'm getting little bit of muscles too.
